Es ist schön, das es Dolby EX gibt. Es ist sehr sehr schön, das nun eine Flag (DTS war da schneller) bei entsprechend ausgestatteten Decodern eine Auto Umschaltung bewirkt. Nicht schön ist dies:Pearl Harbour was mixed for theatres in the following languages: German, Castilian, Italian, French, Russian, Thai, Mandarin and Hindi. None of these mixes were Dolby Digital Surround EX mixes because the original US version was not in Dolby Digital Surround EX either. Therefore it is reasonable to assume that the DVD mixes are not in Dolby Digital Surround EX either. There have been DVD's where the film mix has been remastered for DVD and in doing so a Surround EX mix has been created (e.g. the latest T2) however I am not aware of this having happened for this title. I would also be fairly confident additional languages like Turkish are not in Surround EX.
